The new vampire movie, Queen of the Damned, with Aaliyah, is going to be a great soundtrack. Obviously the late, great, starring actress, will have a great song. I am a huge fan of Aaliyah and it is tragic that she is unable to see the release of her movie. Also, the lead singer of Korn has a track. I love Korn!!! I like soundtracks that have a variety of different styles of music so the cd doesn't get old. You guys going to go see the movie? Has anyone heard any of the music yet from this film?

Well, the film isn't out until later this month, but the soundtrack listing is as thus:

    1. Not Meant For Me - Wayne Static of Static-X
    2. Forsaken - David Draiman of Disturbed
    3. System - Chester Bennington of Linkin Park
    4. Change - Deftones
    5. Redeemer - Marilyn Manson
    6. Dead Cell - Papa Roach
    7. Penetrate - Godhead
    8. Slept So Long - Jay Gordon of Orgy
    9. Down With The Sickness - Disturbed
    10. Cold-Static - X
    11. Headstrong - Earshot
    12. Body Cumbles - Dry Cell
    13. Excess - Tricky
    14. Before I'm Dead - Kidney Thieves

Doesn't look like ANY Aaliyah tracks on there, and from what I can see (just from the listing), it doesn't look like many (if any!) of the Richard Gibbs and Jonathan H. Davis penned songs are there either......

The songs that are credited by "So-and-so of Such-and-such band" are the tunes that Jonathan Davis wrote for the film, but his record contract only allows his songs to be performed by him in the FILM ONLY. The record required that other artists sing his songs on the soundtrack album....don't ask me why. Politics, if you ask me.
