Well, they've announced it. But if the release is cancelled for some reason and you've sold yours, you'll be stuck without one.

I could live with that, actually.
I only bought mine because it was in a second hand shop for £3.99. I'm quite happy with just the suite John Scott conducted for Varese.NP Opera (Simonetti)

To be honest, I haven't listened to the music in well over a year... but I do thoroughly enjoy it. And I completely understand where you're coming from... I traded a couple cd-rs for the original I have (what a deal!)... that's like what? 1 buck?posted 02-04-2002 11:41 AM PT (US)

A new release of E.T.? Is it the expanded or the original release?

All I can say is they better be reissuing that mother with extra music. After all, it was recorded in London.

No it wasn't.It was recorded at MGM Studios in Culver City. The same place where Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom was recorded. Same recording engineer, too. Lyle Burbridge.

I think SBD meant that Roger Rabbit was recorded in London (with the LSO of all things!), and ET was done in LA.If they don't add more music to Roger, it is a big loss....it's missing a ton of score! And the existing album is sequenced and produced a bit...funny. Maybe Baby Huey was in the booth
