From the News page of Varese's website:

"Be sure to visit us on Monday, February 18, as this is the day the next three Varese Sarabande CD Club releases will be announced and available for ordering. Due to a production delay, new Masters Film Music releases will instead begin in April. We are very excited about our new titles and hope you will be too!"

Don't be surprised if you see more releases of soundtracks by Varese coming from a certain studio whose trademark is a zoo animal...

So MGM is next up on the plate, eh? Might we FINALLY see BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE? Or maybe Chris Young's BANDITS (the Intrada release just got canned, supposedly....)?

Where exactly are they kept? In the aviary?

Man, and you thought birds made a mess of your car...sheesh.

I'm always so amused at the number of "production delays" that plague record companies.

Hopefully...because I can easily afford to miss those two. Having been let down by both HEARTBEEPS and PROJECT X (the latter goes on waaaaaay too long, and a prime example of why "complete" isn't automatically "best"), I'm being more careful this time around. Besides, Intrada have SILVER STREAK and YOUNG SHERLOCK, and I'm toying with the SWORDFISH promo as well; I need to adequately deploy my fiscal resources to maximise audio enjoyment...

Actually, chances are greater than not that we'll still get more Fox titles for this 2nd round. Maybe something like DIE HARD or PREDATOR.....

May the Schwartz be with Varese!

Personally... if we are talking about that Lion of certain repute, then I am hoping for the first ever domestic release of ***DARE I DREAM I*** "Yes Giorgio... Fat chance though, I imagine, but I'd be just as happy to see a cd (DELUXE anyone???) of Monsignor!

I may be in the minority, but I'm glad to have HEARTBEEPS. That "Crimebuster" theme brings a silly grin to my face every time.

More Williams is always a good thing.

God willing, Jeron. Or, better yet, they could release an album of suites from John Morris scores:

    Blazing Saddles
    Clue
    High Anxiety
    The In-Laws
    Silent Movie
    Spaceballs
    Young Frankenstein
and the theme from "Coach" - a perfect end to a perfect album.

Thanks for the exact date, Richard. See, that's really what I was asking in the other thread ("Varese CD Club's second wind").
