Wow......this soundtrack came outta nowhere for me!

I just got it after seeing the film and its way cooler than I'd expected......TWO DISCS EVEN!!!!!!

One disc is songs and the other is the score.

By the way who are LOW and KING BLACK ACID? And who is/are TOMANDANDY????

Great stuff really. This is as good a soundtrack as the severely underrated cd to THE PRINCESS AND THE WARRIOR and RUN LOLA RUN.

I never saw the film PRINCESS AND THE WARRIOR.......any good?
THE MOTHMAN PROPHECIES was very interesting and well executed. I can't help but think that Mr. Gere was miscast but he was pretty good anyhow.

    Buy the discs....they're great!!!!

TomAndAndy are 2 composer who did additional music (and programming) for Angelo Badalementi's score to Arlington Road, an interesting score.

What's the style of music on it? Is it trance/techno with strings (I love!!!) or something different?

meegle, where have you been? Low's only my favorite band in the world. They've been described as "slo-core" (or is it "slowcore?"). Tell us more about the TWO discs? Available as a 2-disc set, or two separately?

    Shaun

    Type of music?

    You're pretty close with trance...kinda. Think RADIOHEAD-PORTISHEADish.

Sorry Shaun, I must've been under a rock I guess, never EVER heard of these guys. If most of their stuff is like this...wow.

    It's a 2-disc set, I was really surprised when I opened it.

Hmmm....I guess the MOTHMAN is making me hallucinate the second disc I'm holding in my hand.

...10 tracks on the first one......8 on the second.....

    ".....the eyes.....the eyes were red...."

After listening to the first disc in its entirety I'd have to say that the songs are a cross from RADIOHEAD to PORTISHEAD with heaping spoonfuls of ALAN PARSONS and PINK FLOYD....

    !!!!!!PrettyDAMNCool!!!!!!

Yeah, really good. Probably better than Run Lola Run. Still stylistic, but some of the energy is traded for humanity, and the gain outweighs the loss. Potente can act, and so cannher co-star in this one.

Well the score disc is FANTASTIC!!!!!

Think FIGHT CLUB meets SMILLA'S SENSE OF SNOW with Tangerine Dream's SORCERER!!!!

I dig the hell out of it. Totally a stand alone score!!!!!!!

    So.......

Did ANYONE ever listen to this?

I still like it. Replay value is pretty good.....although I have to be careful so as to not burn out on it.

    Well? Anyone?

Yeah, finally tracked one down. The Low song sounds NOTHING like the Low I know, but I still think it's very cool.

For me, the score reminds me of John Carpenter. Especially The Fog for some reason.

    Good, ambient stuff!
