WATERSHIP DOWN?I suppose it's too much to hope for more than a simple reissue. This score merits expanding! The complete score would easily fit on a single CD. It would also come very close to the upcoming DVD release (which I STILL don't know if it's in widescreen)!
Another thing for ST to do would be to place the existing tracks in proper chronological order!
Still, even a reissue would be nice, since the original is OOP.

Go for it. Last time I saw Spacecamp on Ebay, it was goig for well over $100.And I know that being a starving college student in LA, you could probably get two lattes for about $100.

Well I'm certainely glad that SpaceCamp is getting a re-release. Although if it has no new music on it I won't be too excited.

Im glad Space Camp is coming out, since I liked the film as a kid, and never had the album....Mike, can you tell us, will either Watership Down or Space Camp have any extra music, new art?
And has anyone heard/seen KUNG POW? I was wondering what happened to Robert Folk just the other day(yes, I think about things like that...funny eh
).
He certainly has talent, and it would be nice to hear from him in the right film...his 2cd promo is spectacular!Best,

How good is SpaceCamp? I've got the Erich Kunzel CD with one track on it, but I've not seen the film in about 15 years and didn't much care for it then, so I don't really want to have to sit through it just to see if the CD is worth having.NP: UNTAMED HEART (Cliff Eidelman)

------------------------------------------Bah! That doesn't add up then!

I guess if it's a take on some of the silly
scores for the martial arts films of the 70's I'd check it out

It's a wonderful score, full of the Williams magic, and like many of Williams' scores, far better than the insipid film deserved. If you watched the first few minutes of the film you would hear enough to get the idea. Be sure to turn it off before it gets to the "training montage", which Williams scored with a really dopey disco thing -- the only weak part of the score (though understandable in the context of the times).

A damn shame, since the complete score would indeed fit easily on a single CD. Alas, it'll probably never happen now. They are going to try to remaster the existing music, though.
