    Guys

Incredibely, I got a self signed pic of Elmer Bernstein himself addressed to my name today thanks and coutesy his rep at Amber records. Cool!

    Thanks Mr. Bersntein!

Unfortunately half of the picture got smudged as water had seeped into the mail and half of the picture got stuck to the wet envelope.

And somebody apparently openned the mail and ripped it out resulting in picture with snowy splodges

But my name and and Bernstein name is still intact!

    Gosh, what a unique memobrilia.

This is the second Celebrity autograph Ihave.

The first one was Mr. Muhammad Ali (Cassius Clay) when he came to visit Islamabad, Pakistan in 1986.

And I shook hands with him and he autographed my invitation card (I was at sports press dinner representing my school). I was the first one to get it (Ali after the meeting walked staright at my table where I was waiting for him.. probably thought I was an American!). Seconds later we were both
engulfed in barrage of flash bulbs and exploding press camera. I even made it on the Televison footage with him. That was unique!

Now, if only I could get one from

    JOHN WILLIAMS!

If (I think it just a case of when) John Williams next performs in England I'll get that autograph for you Amer ...I have his signature, signed to me, in the Superman LP release inside the gatefold, this was way back in 1980!

It must have been a real privalage to meet someone as truly great as Ali.

Wow. thanks Timmer. Id be ecstatic if taht were to happen! mkae sure you tell him that he has a fan in Pakistan!

P.S.SUPERMAN is my FIRST soundtrack album and my favourite all time Williams score followed closely by EMPIRE STRIKES BACK and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.

Meeting Ali was a great experience and when I shook hands with him I relaized how collosal he looked both physically and in legend.!

Another celeb who actually wrote back to my rather funny fan letter was "David Gerrold" The author of The Trouble with The Tribbles screenplay of Classic Star Trek".

Even Lukas Kendall thought it was cool that he wrote me back.(This is 1991)

    best
    Amer

When it happens Amer the boards'll be buzzing with the news, but you'll have to remind me to do that for you

When I met Williams, I seemed to be the only person he was pleased to meet, I think this was due to the fact I had only one cover and everyone else had an armload

I should mention that I did see a glimpse of Ali but there was such a crowd I couldn't get anywhere near.
