As you know (if you live in Canada), Sam the Record Man is sadly going out of business and will definately be missed. So, with that news Sam's has put everything in their store at 50% off the lowest ticketed price.I visited the store today and found great deals on the following soundtracks.
- Moll Flanders (Mancina)
- Hoosiers (Goldsmith)
- Trapped in Paradise (Folk) Great score!
- Maximum Risk (Folk)
- City Hall (Goldsmith)
- Criminal Law (Goldsmith) Waste of money even at 50% off!
- Warlock: The Armageddon (McKenzie)
- Frank and Jesse (McKenzie)
- The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca (McKenzie)
- James and the Giant Peach (Newman)
- Cobb (Goldenthal)
- Wing of Courage (Yared)Not bad for $131.
I actually saw another guy there today just grabbing every score he could find... copies of Willow, Pearl Harbor, Topsy Turvy, etc... the store is busy but it's well worth the 20 minute line up to get the soundtracks you want at a great price. So if you live within the Greater Toronto Area, make your way down to Dundas and Young and buy, buy, buy... before Sam's closes forever!
From one very happy customer!

And that's $131 Canadian which is less in $US. And I was in Sam's on my last trip to Toronto too.

Oh, that is unfortunate news. Many a dollar (and then a loonie) I spent there...and that was back when LP's were still in fashion.
