During this joyous holiday season I suddenly felt a great urge to listen to Goldsmith's The Omen - perhaps simply a reaction to too much Bach and Tchaikovsky this christmas - and realized I don't have the two scores for the sequels(!) I've downloaded the Main Titles from Damien: Omen II and am very impressed...but I haven't seen the films in ages, and don't really remember them or the music (except for being scared shitless).
How do they hold up to the orginal? Are the newly relased expanded versions worth the money?

    Thanks,
    SFT

NP: Damien: Omen II, Main Titles

By any means, get all three Deluxe Editions as soon as possible!! Particularly Final Conflict is definitely one of the finest scores ever written.

NP: Beggars Banquet (The Rolling Stones)

Of course not. Only Donuts Elfman's CDs deserve your money!

Has anyone replaced the tracks from the complete score boots with new ones tracks. A better complete is allways better. Oh yeah, Elfman is pretty damn cool. Loved that POTA main title.

Oh, a lot of them. I could cite at least one hundred of them right here.
Hanzimmer and Donuts Elfman will never be among them, of course.

Andre, do you now even like Elfman doing something like Instinct? That's a great score...

But back to the point ... SFT, man, you must buy both the other two Omen scores. They is fantastic. Final Conflict, is, indeed, very high as one of Goldsmith's best. You need to own it if you want to have an even vaguely respectable Goldsmith collection!

NP LOTR (Saw the film for the fourth time last night. Man, it's great!)

Oh yeah. Instinct is nice. I forgot about that. Midnigh Run is nice too. And Nightmare Before X-mas is good.

    The rest is trash.
