I was told today that Ben Affleck (yum!) will be playing the Marvel Comics superhero called Daredevil. This movie is supposed to start production soon, so has anyone heard who will be doing the score?

Probably waaaaaay too soon to say. How about we find out who is directing it first, and then start making wild guesses from there?

Mark Steven Johnson is directing. He also directed Simon Birch (which Marc Shaiman scored) and wrote Grumpy Old Men.

Yes, Ben Affleck is playing Matt Murdock, the blind attorney/crimefighter. I will be playing the part of Murdock's sad sack partner, Foggy Nelson. And this time... This time, I get the girl.

But Foggy, every time you get the girl, doesn't she turn out to be a psycho super-villain? Or she betrays you in some way? Or she is too good, so she ends up dead? You know...that's why you're a sad sack, remember?
