Jan Kaczmarek's score for Quo Vadis is apparently available in Poland now. The film came out last September.
Some crazy website was listing it as 2 CD, but since I don't read polish 100% and can only understand fragments, I can't be sure I understood it all correctly.
But here are the more interesting pages:

    There's this: http://quovadis.sonymusic.pl

and there are two clips here: http://www.sonymusic.pl/katalog/id/3816/more_k/1

I saw something about this movie on TV months ago. I wondered if perhaps Kilar would score it.

I got so many CDs today that I don't want to pause the current one to listen to the clips. How are they?

Well, by this time, you've probably paused your CD, but the clips sound like songs. They're nice, but they're songs.

This one has the track listing and the musical credits.

If you just cross out all the "c"'s and "z"'s, Polish makes perfect sense...

Got it a few weeks ago.

    Some quick comments:

    Great Stuff!

Although it could have been better.

Much of the music is slow and subdued. Low strings. Some guy wailing at the top of his lungs (in what sounds like an alsmot islamic chant).
    Duduks and other bizarre instruments.
    A chorus for some parts.
Some of the highlights are some fast tracks for strings, woodwings and percussion. The tracks are more festive than tragic.
One track "Orgy" stands out as a perfect musical accompaniement for the subject of the track's title.
Not too much brass in this score. Kaczmarek doesn't seem to like it much. No Marta Boberska either.
Overall the sound is good. The performance is fine.

Interesting to note: double disc album.
First CD is 60 minutes of score.
Second CD is 13 minutes of songs and an interactive CD ROM part with pictures and info from and about the movie. Biographies. And a video clip of the main song "Dove Vai".
Of all the Enhanced CDs, Quo Vadis' interactive presentation is the best I've seen. It's very detailed (compared to others). Very well designed and presented.

    Overall:
    3 stars for the score.
    4 stars for the songs.
    5 stars for presentation.

Hopefully, the film will play in the "west" and Sony Classical will release the same set here, as they did in Poland. It would be a shame if they cut down the music to a single CD, or dropped the interactive content.

Sounds like this thing makes Peter Ustinov's singing in the 1951 film sound like Placido Domingo arias by contrast.

I haven't heard a bad score from Jan Kaczmarek. From the beautiful scores like Washington Square and Bliss to the more experimental ones like The Third Miracle, he's a terrific composer. Where the heck are they selling Quo Vadis??

Thanks, fellas. I ordered Quo Vadis today, along with Donnie Darko and the new Pino Donaggio score from Italy. I find myself all tingly with anticipation.

Doug Fake mentioned that this new Pino score had overtones of the kind of writing Pino was doing for DePalma on pictures like Dressed to Kill, which really piqued my interest. I'll let you know about it after I get through it.
