Remember this neat little action series about the adventures of William Tell from the 80's??? I've been told that a soundtrack CD exists...can anyone confirm this?

Your original query about this ( a couple of months ago) stuck in my mind and I've kept one eye open for it. -- see!

But although I dimly recall (imagine?) seeing this CD in shops many years ago (under its English title WILLIAM TELL) the closest I've come to it recently is a tape copy at Backtrack in the UK.

I'll continue to keep an eye open:

My aged (1990) copy of The Official Music Master Films And Shows Catalogue lists a CD under the title "William Tell" on the Virgin label; catalogue number CDV 2585. The last track is entitled "Song Of The Crossbow".

Thank you so much, gentlemen. At least now I have a ghost's chance of locating said CD. I suppose it was of limited release since no one seems to have it.

The composer of William Tell (Wilhem Tell) is Stanislas Syrewicz.

You will find this CD for sale at:

...but I could not manage to get in touch with them.

Thank you, Soundtracker, unfortunately I can't read Japanese (it doesn't look even remotely like English or any of the slavic languages) but I sent them an e-mail to see if they could send me a link for their site in English. Who knows?
Kris, if you don't like it, maybe you'll sell me your copy?

Do we have any Japanese pals here, by chance? And if so, would they be reading this thread? (sigh)
