This is a wonderful score and the theme, as mentioned, is gorgeous. Probably the best score he's ever done.

On CD only as bootleg, which is unfortunate. Maybe we can hope for this as Varese Club release?

It would need to be a 2-CD set to capture the full magnificence and breadth of the score in its fullness. Maybe, MAYBE you could cut it down to an 80-minute CD if you didn't include the concert versions of the Love Theme and Overture.

Don't forget that the DVD has an isolated score. True, there are fade-outs and fade-ins, some music is dialled out and some music is cut-up and tracked to where it's not supposed to be. But between the DVD and the bootleg, with some clever audio editing, you can make yourself a pretty nice 2-CD set. Anyone want a guide on how exactly to do this?

Vladimir--I traded CDRs ith SEBULBA on this board--the guy puts together class act CDRs, complete with cover art and all.

I believe he pulled the score from the DVD so it is all the music from the film and sounds excellent.

Can't comment on score, but I can say his score to Labyrinth was fun, though David Bowie really made the album the blast it was.
