"Are you distracted by the things of the world? Give yourself some quiet time to discover something new, and learn how to stop this restlessness. And beware that you don't fall inton another kind of error: the folly of those who wear out their lives in ceaseless business, but have no aim on which their every action or thought is focused."
    --Marcus Aurelius.

...And with the golden hen in one arm, Jack descended the enormous beanstalk, the giant in close pursuit. Upon reaching his home, he reached for the old ax wedged in the wood pile. Taking a deep breath, he swung the ax at the massive trunk, cleaving clean through it in one swing. The giant did not have time to comprehend his predicament, and plummeted from the sky, his massive form impacting the earth, creating a deep crater, oh, somewhere in South America. Relieved, Jack, somewhat wiser, returned to his house with the golden hen, never again to involve himself in the affairs of lunatic giants.

    The End.
