That's right. This cue from Maurice Jarre's Witness score is an incredible piece of movie scoring. Although the piece is purly electronic (as is the whole soundtrack), it fits the scenes like a glove and is an incredible listening experience. I am blown away everytime I hear it.BTW, get the compilation album Jarre by Jarre. It has the cue re-arranged for orchestra. It really rocks when heard in this form.
Great piece, great piece.

I have this track on a compilation - It sounds great in full orchestral splendour.I had no idea it was originally a synthesised track.

Silva released a "Music from the Films of Harrison Ford" which has both the orchestral and the synthesizer version. Both versions are quite good.

"It sounds great in full orchestral splendour."Agreed. I had the pleasure of listening to the Florida Orchestra perform it live with M. Jarre at the podium.

I am not a Jarre fan, but this is a superb piece of music. A great piece of America. I am glad to hear orchestras are playing it; it deserves life as a concert piece.

I think it's a great way to introduce yourself to Jarre's music if you're not familiar and it's damn cheap. It should be priced around $11.99. One of the highlights of this disc is the rousing performance of Villa Rides.
