How many of you have HBO and watch the show? I've seen 2 episodes already (4&5) and I am completely hooked. I'm definitely going to pick up Micheal Kamen's score and the series when it comes out on DVD.

I haven't been watching the show, but the score is a gem. One of Kamen's best (among MANY bests).

The show is great. Easily one of the best produced mini series in TV history. Score is great too.

    I don't have HBO.
The good parts of the score resemble Highlander and Robinhood.

The show is really good... kinda draining at times... (I mean, 35-minutes of non-stop action is cool, but it can take a lot out of you!)

Definitely some of the best stuff I've seen all year....... but "The Practice" just started up this fall, so we'll see.

    Ron Livingston is cool.

Scott, what the hell is the "World Trade Center version" of Enya's "Only Time?" Is this why the album is selling through the roof again? If so, people will probably be upset that the version they've heard isn't the one on the album.

Indeed. Thought he was great in OFFICE SPACE, and I hope he stays on as a regular character on "The Practice"!

I haven't seen any of Band of Brothers yet, but I will agree that Ron Livingston is extremely cool. Both Office Space and Swingers were great, as was he.

As far as Kamen's score, I found it to be good, albiet a bit too familiar. It's pacing throughout the middle of the score was also a bit to much for me.

I'm not really impressed with this music.
Either Kamen is perfect for this mini-series or just the opposite.

He may be perfect for it (IMHO) because it's character driven and you really dont need hard edged spoon-feeding music underneath. This score is subtle (yawn) and therefore is really (to me) unoticeable.

I can't help but think what someone else could've done with this project.
