there sure is- I can't stop playing the damn thing.. what I like most about it is it has that cue from the scene where Clooney and Nik are hacking in the computer and it is a race for time-such a short, rapid-fire piece of music! It's 2 cd's, a little over 90 minutes... and even the cues frm the official soundtrack are altered- which is like a whole new version... much like Williams scores and soundtracks and the way they differ...
anyways i'll stop rambling... just wanted to give ya some info....

    I agree with Jeron.

If 75 minutes of Zimmer's harsh, bombastic score isn't enough....

My head would probably explode with an hour and a half of Zimmer's score.

I do like the commercial album, though; especially tracks 3 and 4.

Pay no attention to Hasta; he's full of nonsense on Zimmer stuff. The 2 CD set of The Peacemaker is incredible and not-so bombastic as Hasta would have you believe. Especially, like Jeff said: the track when Clooney and Kidman are hacking Hanz' system is an amazing action cue, really tense with a nicely paced ending.

Ok, the thing I like about the 2 different versions is that the official release sticks to the more orchestral sections of the score and are mixed so that the more synth stuff is hidden. And then the complete is like a completely different, way better score.

Agreed. Whenever there is a complete version out, might as well try and get your hands on it for collecting purposes if anything ;-)

Is this a commercially available album? Or is it in the more traditional bootleg format for expanded editions?

The first CD actually only has 25 tracks, track 11 repeats itself...
