Other countries with so-called universal have problems with abuse of the GOVERNMENTAL system. Canada, for instance, is one of the mroe notorious examples.

Here, hospitals and clinics would be choked with people who have all sorts of minor little problems like colds when others who have more urgent needs, like surgery, are forced to wait.

Rationing IS one of the problems with these countries. It's well-documented.

Ok, Zaius. That is the LAST straw. My grandfather died of a serious, long term illness. Yes, because he worked hard in his life, he had ample medical care. He never had to wait long for life-extending surgeries. He lived in a wonderful nursing home with a room right next to the kitchen where he got delightful, personal care. He was never a rich man, but he had no problem getting such care without the government spoon-feeding it to him. Universal health care is unnecessary.
