I don't think that Domestic Disturbance is a confirmed assignment for JG.

    Hey Hard Target,

is it true that Danny Elfman will compose music for SPIDERMAN ? If true, I just sincerely hope that Elfman understands the importance of a romantic score to this one - SPIDERMAN should not be treated like another Batman score.

I'm not Hard Target, but I can tell you that yes, Elfman IS doing the score to SPIDERMAN.

And I'm sure that whatever he writes will fit the film.

It might fit but somehow I just don't think it'll be Spidey!

Ken S is right to be concerned...be very concerned (at least if your a Spidey fan anyway?!)

Yes, I am concerned... very concerned.

I've been a Spidey "fan" just for a year, and because I like the romantic and tragic quality of Spidey's adventures and his personal life, I'm REALLY concerned for the whole movie. I mean that, since Hollywood nowadays turns every good story to "over-the-top popcorn-entertainment", I really wait SPIDERMAN with creeping horror...

...and now, when knowing that Elfman will do the score, I'm more concerned because in my opinion Elfman has somehow declined in his early, fresher style of writing imaginitive music. And we all know how he expressed the tragicness of BATMAN - the same style just won't fit SPIDERMAN.

    Thanks, Timmer

Patrick Doyle is now OFF Femme Fatale, BTW. Bummer, man. Ryuichi Sakamoto is now doing this score.

    Okay, more specifically:

It's a remake of the 1958 William Castle film MACABRE, which was based on the novel of the same name by Theo Durrant. A doctor's daughter is kidnapped and buried alive, and he is given just five hours to find and rescue her.

    Should be fun!
