Didn't sound TOO action packed.... certainly nowhere near as "action-intense" as JP3....

    Sounded nice, though...

Kypper said "aciton packed" not "action packed." Note the difference. Life's problems can all be sorted out in the details....

But if you want to fight, go ahead. No matter who wins, it's still a big summer score with a lot of action. The kids will love it.

Oh, aciton-packed. That's much better of course. Haven't heard an aciton score in a while.

If you really want to know, the ape warriors are fighting. Some would say it's in their nature. Don't tell me you can't smell the oily body odor of the dinosaurs and the wet, matted fur of the stinky apes....

From what I have heard, the score sounds very, very good. It doesn't really sound like Elfmann (which is a good thing mind you). In fact, thus far it sounds that it may even top JP3, but we'll never know until we hear the entire cd, will we?

To me, it sounds very Danny Elfman. I can hear shades of Bernard Herrmann and Elfman's own "Batman" in the music. I'm really looking forward to this!

I thought that the studio execs weren't too happy with Elfman's score. Now has the scoring session been completed? Or is this a "first draft" of the score?

That doesn't say much for Elfman, does it? Or are you talking about Elfmann? Cause if you're talking about Elfmann and not Elfman, then I understand your statement...

I can definitely see why Scott would have issues with a soccer team scoring PoTA.

Got my CD yesterday. It's quite a good score - a bit heavy on the percussion and a bit short on major themes. (Maybe that's why all the hoopla over the possible "changes"....)

We'll see what the FINAL score (i.e. IN the film) is like, and if it differs at all.....

Hmmm, interesting samples. Dunno quite what to think, it's a bit Revell like here and there to my ears. More interested in hearing it then I previously was before hearing the clips here at MM.com, so I've ordered it, it's shipped and should be with me mid week. Still could not give a damn about the movie, go figure.
