Regarding Henry & Muppet Treasure Island are two good scores by Zimmer.

You already have a pretty good collection. I have to second Beyond Rangoon. It's one of his best in my humble opinion.

Rocco recommended Power of One--I liked it, but it's all Africal chorals, much different from what you'd expect from Zimmer.

I cannot BELIEVE nobody has recommended Prince of Egypt, Zimmer's second best score to date (behind TTRL). Beyond Rangoon is indeed excellent as well.

How about this. Since you're a fan already (right? right?), why not just get all the available Zimmer CD out there and judge for yourself. You wouldn't be disappointed. And when you do, just give it all to me. I'll be satisfied with extra copies

Try to find Regarding Henry. One of his nicest score.

    "Hanzimmer suck!"

Poor Andre...caught in yet another angry moment with nothing intelligent to say.

    Chris,
That's pretty strong Zimmer collection...I'll second those that have mentioned the following:

    Beyond Rangoon
    The Lion King
    Prince of Egypt
House of Spirits (This would be my first pick!)

    The Power Of One

    Rain Man

    Nobody ever mentions these.

And congratulations to Andre for recently breaking 1000 posts. That is one thousand little nuggets of Brazilian wisdom. We should all feel privileged.

Somehow I expected a big wink icon at the end of the message.

Power of One is great but it rarely end up in my CD tray.

And if you like Power of One, checking out A World Apart wouldn't hurt. (As the anecdote goes, it's the score that inspired Rain Man...or, at least, got Zimmer the job....)

Anyway, on to the original question of this thread. There have been some great suggestions. Though, you seem to have quite a few of the must-have scores already. Out of what I have heard, I would add the following...

    Beyond Rangoon
    Muppet Treasure Island
    The Prince of Egypt
    Regarding Henry

The new Wings of a Film compilation is pretty good too. It leaves a lot to be desired in places, but it is rather nice otherwise.

    Regards,
    Sean Robert Abbey
