I just picked this cd up lastweek and wow!!!! its great!! I have The Mummy by Goldsmith and while i like it also i think the Mummy Returns by Silvestri is alot better.It reminds me of Goldsmith's music.This reminds me of how Joel Mcneely Can write music that sounds alot like Goldsmith's I'm not saying silvestri coppied Goldsmith's music for this film.I just think he did a excelant job and at the same time put a little Goldsmith in his music but overall I will give him a 10/10 for his effort!!!!Matt

Vladimir,Must concur, this is one of the more entertaining scores I've heard this summer. Particularly, I love track 9: My First Bus Ride.

You are right.I also enjoy The Mummy Returns a lot more than Goldsmith's The Mummy.And they all disagree about that.

I agree and must be a part of some kind of small minority that liked Silvesti's take on the series better then Goldsmith's.The Mummy Returns is probally my favorite score released this year (although one could make a case for Atlantis

Definitely one of the best, but I don't know it just didn't grab me like some of you guys. It's up there with Atlantis for 2nd place this year, but I'll hold Moulin Rouge at #1 thank you very much =)... It's been such a slow year... so far =)

I just woke up and its about 10 am and i have the the Mummy Returns playing already!! I'm glad everyone is saying positive things for once about a soundtrack!!Matt

Hey Matt,i was only making a comment.Nothing special.And of course i don't mind.I'm just surprised because when i posted the same topic they all had different opinions about Silvestri's score.I guess we managed to change their minds after all!...
