Kevin Smith posted a little tidbit on the ViewAskew WWWBoard a few days back mentioned that there might also be a score album for J&SBSB in addition to the songtrack. He said it wasn't set in stone yet, but that it would be put out be "a very reputable score soundtrack label."

So... anyone here know which label this might be?

Jim Venable scored the movie, by the way. He did the music in the Clerks animated series, and he also works on The Powerpuff Girls, I believe.

I rented that Clerks animated series 2 disc set. I have never laughed out loud so much at a 30-minute episode of a cartoon EVER.

Today, I'm getting the Dogma 2-disc set and in less than a month, Mallrats. I'm still debating getting the Clerks Animated DVD.

Wouldn't be interesting if Varese Sarabande got Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back?

My money's on Chapter III Records.

Hopefully, it will be an orchestral score.

I'll put a fin on Intrada.

A friend of mine told me Chapter III is out of business...is this true?

Am I just psychic or what? Don't answer that. I honestly thought Chapter III would last longer than that, oh well. Doesn't surprise me that Varese got it, Kevin Smith did say the score album would be released by a very reputable soundtrack company. Personally, I can't think of a better example of such than Varese, other than Milan Records.

Good news. To be honest I wasn't expecting an orchestral score for this one, let alone an 83-piece orchestra and choir!

    Could be sweet.

Wow, even the "God Says Goodbye" sequence got on the album! I'm very glad!

"Girl Fight" should be in between tracks 24 and 25, but that's easily fixable with programming.
