I want to hear PotA first before I decide, but the other 5 are the scores I'm most eagerly expecting this year.

    (Referring to Rrans list)

I'm advising everyone to put Mists of Avalon (Lee Holdridge) on the very top of their lists of things to buy. Seventy+ minutes of music for the women behind King Arthur and his roundtable, written by an unsung hero of a composer. You should be drooling by now. It's in stores on Tuesday, available now in the MM store.

As for scores to new films that are coming out soon, Mists of Avalon does look juicy, doesn't it? I'll probably see AI before I decide to buy the score or not.

As for new or upcoming soundtrack CD releases, I still have to pick up a few more of the French re-issues: Fantomas, The Fox, Exorcist 2, and Summer of 42. Also need to get the Rhino Bad Day at Black Rock, the new Ronald Stein CD, and an upcoming Varese CD of Sarde suites.

My list reads like Rran's list.

However, the only one I'll be buying on release date (as in over the net) is probably LOTR.

Rran's list pretty much said it for me, but I'll add...
    The Train - Sarde
Dr.Jekyl and Sister Hyde - Whitaker
    Captain Kronos - Johnson
Life Is A Fatal Sexually Transmitted Disease - Kilar
    Enigma - Barry
