    Hi all,

I've always attempted to have a wide-reaching score collection which means taking gambles on composers unheard of (as in their music). Doing so, has allowed me to uncover some wonderful composers whose music I wish to explore further.

    Recently they have been:
    Alberto Iglesias
    Craig Safan

Does anyone else have anything to share in terms of a composer they have recently stumbled across or grown to adore in a gradual sense? If so, what were the circumstances?

    Regards,
    Rochelle

    Hmmm, let me think!

A few off the top of my head...

Malcolm Arnold - The Roots of Heaven/David Copperfield
    John Beal - The Funhouse
Shaun Davey - The Tailor of Panama
Dan Jones - Shadow of the Vampire
    Hummie Mann - P.T. Barnum
Conrad Pope - Pavilion of Women
André Previn - The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse
David Shire - Last Stand at Saber River
Ronald Stein - The Haunted Palace/Premature Burial

The circumstances? Intrada's sale, review copies and dumb luck I guess!

    Regards,
    Sean Robert Abbey

    Don't hit me but...
Georges Delerue via Great Composers series from Varese...
I just took a chance one day and plunked down 20 bucks for the compilation. Great investment I must say. I think the 2nd disc offer the best melodic material from this great man.

    Thumbs up WAY UP!!!
