Just found this on the Varese Sarabande site:

    AMERICAN OUTLAWS
    Original Motion Picture Soundtrack
    Music Composed by Trevor Rabin

When a Midwest town learns that a corrupt railroad baron has captured the deeds to their homesteads without their knowledge, a group of young ranchers joins forces to take back what is rightfully theirs.
In the course of their vendetta, they will become the object of the biggest manhunt in the history of the Old West and, as their fame grows, so will the legend of their leader, a young outlaw by the name of Jesse
James. The cast of newcomers includes Colin Farrell, Scott Caan and Ali Lartner. The film also features Timothy Dalton and Kathy Bates.

Trevor Rabin, lead guitarist from the legendary rock group YES, infuses his own brand of energy into the western genre. With guitar in hand and a symphony orchestra at his side, Rabin's score is soaring and
rhythmic. It's classic and contemporary. It reinvents the western and makes for one of the most exciting soundtracks of the summer.

This Morgan Creek/Warner Bros. film opens nationwide on August.

    Release date: 08/07/01

Me too...I feel this will be a fun score to listen to. I was glad to hear an orchestra would be present so that is an added bonus.

I really like Rabin, but if this is a cowboy film like it seems, all I can think of is his terrible, terrible "Oil Rig" music from Armageddon.. Can you imagine if the whole score sounded like that? It'd almost be as bad as Gone in 60 Seconds was!!!

    NP: Godfather Trilogy ****/*****

Gone In 60 Seconds is an awesome "techno" score.

It's not that bad. Stick it in a walkman/discman/portable-audio-man and try walking/running/skating/cycling with it. Just be careful at intersections, and don't try stupid tricks.
