I was just wondering if anyone has picked up the new limited edition CD of Cinema Paradiso. If so, I would appreciate some comments on the quality and whatnot. Being a fan of Morricone's music I decided to pick up some more and this is at the top of the list of what I plan on getting. Though, I'd like to know more about this and the current release of this score! Thanks!

I was thinking of picking this one up since I don't own the score and I've heard good things about it.I guess this release swaps the audio channels for the intended audio reproduction (the original release was done wrong) and adds a bonus cue.

You don't have Cinema Paradiso? You fool!
This new release would be the perfect excuse to now own it.
I haven't checked out the new one simply because I own the other one, but I'm sure it can't be any worse.
Anyone know what the bonus cue is?

Well, whatever the case, I decided to pick it up. The cost for it at CDNOW was the same for both versions. So, I just went and got the new release.I look forward to hearing it!

This is coming from the guy who doesn't own Raiders of the Lost Ark?

I'll probably buy it later this month when Rio Lobo and The Conversation are out.

Raiders Shmaiders. I've got the theme on a Williams compilation and it suits me just fine.
It's time to move on and start the healing.
