Yup. That's according to that other store.
    A Knight's Tale @ cdnow

There will be a score release of Burwell's A Knight's Tale from Columbia Records on July 3, 2001.

As a Burwell fan, all I can say is:

    yay.

who's heard this in the film?

I certainly haven't, but read in some magazine like the godawful Entertainment Weekly about it mixing rock with "Burwell's sweeping score."

    just how sweeping is it?

I thought the score was, well, medieval. Your usual brass fanfares with a bit of softer melodies played on flutes etc. etc. But all with that great Burwell touch.

I am rather new to Burwell's work, but I'll be getting a copy. Now if only CDNOW would list Elfman's Planet of the Apes!

What a surprise! I'll definetly get this one! Now all we need is Christopher Young's brilliant score for Swordfish. I love them trumpets!

Trumpets? Trumpets are cool...I love military music...Taps. I liked Burwell's Rob Roy, so I guess I am looking forward to this one.

Mustang for my money, Swordfish is the score to have right now, but it's not out. Now that sucks and I'm truely surprised Varese hasn't picked this one up. It's one of the best scores I've heard so far this year and it's not really a military score, but the trumpets are really awesome.
