The only complete 2 tracks missing are the last two cues, which aren't Kamen. One is the Aliens cue by Horner, and the other is the cue by John Scott.

Everything else on the Pony boot is on the 2 cd complete. Some of the cues on the Pony boot, aren't placed in the correct order though, which they are on the 2 cd set.

The only cue (as far as I can tell from memory) that is still missing from the 2 cd set is just the opening logo of Die Hard. But I haven't gone through the film cue by cue to check.

You're right Sebulba, the Main Titles are the only thing missing along with Beethoven's 9th symphony playing over the end credits, but everything is on that 2 cd boot

And those main titles last what? 15 - 20 seconds. Just a sound effect basically of the Die Hard words colliding, then the little jingle bells and such.

Hey- I have this but the sound quality is not as good as the Pony boot- the complete boot has some hiss, like it was transferred from a tape source... and the Pony boot sounds much clearer.... do I just have a crappy copy or are all of them the same sound quality?? Compare the two and you'll see Pony sounds better...
    Thanks
    John F

Although there does seem to be a little hiss, not much at all though, I feel the boot has better range and quality than the pony. The Pony to me, sounds a little bassy.

    Hi.

    I know I "haven't posted much", but:
there is more than the main titles missing. A piece of music which just features the well-known christmas bells, but this could be also edited from "The Big Fall"
Also the music which fades into the end of "Bathroom Stories" is missing as well as the Music as McClane jumps from the roof and chrashes through the window.
And there's this cue: "Roy Rogers meets Beethovens Ninth" on the Pony Tail release. I suppose it's an alternate for the main title or something, but it's also missing from the 2 cd set.
    Best wishes,

    Castor

A few seconds here or there aren't gonna make much difference. It's a wonderful score regardless. I think that Roy Rogers cue maybe the the alternate Main title cue..or just a rehearsal cue that Kamen thought would be funny or something. It's kinda funny if you think about it.

Oops, yep. Forgot about the Roy Roger cue. I actually always skipped that one when I listened to the Pony. Not that there's anything wrong with it, but I just wanted to dive into the meat of the score.
