According to Soundtrack Magazine, Chris Young is due to score the eighth Halloween film (which had been mooted as a project for Marco Beltrami). Also, Elektra Records are due to be releasing a CD of Revell's score for Tomb Raider. Nice. Also (not sure if someone else has already pointed this out), apparently Sony Classical are due to release Goldenthal's Final Fantasy score on July 3rd. Recorded with the LSO, this should be a decent length album. [Message edited by Pete M on 06-01-2001]

FYI,Chris Young is no longer working on HALLOWEEN 8; Danny Lux has taken over scoring duties. (Do a search on IMDb to see what Lux has done - I'm looking forward to hearing what he comes up with!) Dan

Hmmmm. Intriguing. He doesn't seem to have done anything of this sort before (which is more than can be said for Chris Young), so this could be quite an interesting score. Nice to see a new face getting a major (ish. Well, maybe not quite) film.

Not quite true - after 100+ episodes of "Silk Stalkings" as well as tense music for "Sliders" and "Profiler", I think he might be very well suited for the task! Dan

Ooops, missed that. I didn't quite get past the Ally McBeal/Young Americans/Sabrina bit.
