News on Halloween 8 & Tomb Raider

Pete M Oscar® Winner	According to Soundtrack Magazine, Chris Young is due to score the eighth Halloween film (which had been mooted as a project for Marco Beltrami). Also, Elektra Records are due to be releasing a CD of Revell's score for Tomb Raider. Nice. Also (not sure if someone else has already pointed this out), apparently Sony Classical are due to release Goldenthal's Final Fantasy score on July 3rd. Recorded with the LSO, this should be a decent length album. [Message edited by Pete M on 06-01-2001]

Pete M Oscar® Winner	Hmmmm. Intriguing. He doesn't seem to have done anything of this sort before (which is more than can be said for Chris Young), so this could be quite an interesting score. Nice to see a new face getting a major (ish. Well, maybe not quite) film.
