I can't believe I don't remember what I was going to write about, maybe I was just to busy watching Ardeth Bay (Oded Fehr) on The Mummy Returns. I was just wondering if anyone remebers if on the CD there is the track where Ardeth and his "men in black' are on their horses and defeat the dog warrior guys??

Unless I'm totally wrong (and I'm frequently that), it's just "The Legend Of The Scorpion King" tracked over that scene (and the scene after it, and the scene after that, and the scene after that). Seriously, check it out.

Young Mr Rutherford may be right.

I wouldn't be surprised since you can barely hear the score in the opening battle scene anyway...why not re-use it?

    good score, man.

    very "swashbuckly."

Naah...Rachel Weisz takes the cake. Seeing more of Patricia Velasquez wouldn't hurt, either.

I kinda liked that blond BA-flight attendant that flew Mr. and Mrs. O'Connol to Egypt :-))

NP: THE MUMMY RETURNS-Alan Silvestri ***/*****

    Poor compared to Jerry's work....
also CGI poor (Might be because of budget problems,)
    Camera-work a bit iffy :-(

Well, finally saw the thing last night...and I could hardly wait till it was over. In one word: CRASS,CRASS,CRASS,CRASS...and CRASS. Loud, obnoxious and pointless, with way too many laughable effects shots and a Silvestri score that plays up the most derivative aspects of this sort of filmaking with a shallow, repetitous effort that has inexplicably been vaulted here at this sight above Goldsmith's contribution. The mind boggles. Do some of you actually know the difference between noise and music?

All music is noise, though not all noise is music....(but thanks for the benefit of the doubt when it comes to us "simple-minded" folk.)
