    Sudden Death
Lots of percussions. At times sounds like acoustic MediaVentures. Mostly action. Similar in certain ways to Robert Folk's Maximum Risk, Grame Revell's Hard Target and Don Davis' The Beast.

    On Deadly Ground
Typical Basil Poledouris action score: rythmic percussion, synth sounds, all accompany brass and strings. At times has ethnic flutes and percussion. Too repetitive for my taste.

    Under Siege 2
Typical Basil Poledouris action score. But at 27 minutes total duration, leaving about 24 minutes of score, it's a little short. Though it really is enough. Lots of action. Few useless elements. Most is rather enjoyable. Nothing spectacular.

    The Untouchables

Pretty good / Excellent, depending on your taste. A great jubilating main theme, some great jazzy stuff, and several other fine tracks. I have a feeling the bad sequencing is to blame that the album doesn't play as well as I think it could.

    Muppet Treasure Island

I only heard this in the film, but I intend to pick it up when I get the chance. Though I'm not very keen on MV, Zimmer seems to have done a great job here, it has that typical "pirate sound". Plus of course the usual Muppet songs. If you like the Muppets, you'll enjoy it, if not, your main focus will probably be the score tracks only.

These are gonna be really short, cause I don't feel like typing too much right now:

On Deadly Ground, Pretty good Poledouris action score. Nothing spectactular, although it's enjoyable.

Under Siege 2, Another typical Poledouris action score. I like the 24 minute release, but it leaves you wanting more. The 78 minute full score boot is just a little too long, though. I'd say this score needed a 45-50 minutes release.

The Firm, It seems to alternate song/score/song/score, etc., and none of the score is particularly memorable. I don't like it. Want my copy?

Damnit, John Dunham. I appreciate all of the moments of Grusin's score for The Firm that were NOT on the album. It's a very 70s score, but unfortunately, if you don't have the complete score (I don't) or remember it from the film (I do), you'd never imagine that from hearing the GRP release.

I wonder what our new member "The Watcher" thinks of Beltrami's The Watcher.

Damnit, Shaun Rutherford, I guess that explains why I don't appreciate it!

John: Thanks, but no thanks Listened to some clips from The Firm and it didn't sound too interesteing..

I want to add a score to the list... Anyone ever heard "Dr. Giggles" by Brian May? It was released by Intrada

Dr. Giggles......this one works great in the film, but the album is a bit rough going.

It is a good one, and I would recommend it to contradict the above...it reminds me of something that Salter might have written for a contempo horror. It does have a strong main theme, plenty of action, the only real distraction are the electronic cues(synths never were Brian May's strongpoint IMO).

And THE WATCHER? Great score,I love the album. It's 45mins. of relentless avant-techno menace, with the requisite femme vocals in between. Just don't forget to fwd for about 15mins. on the last track for a final WAH-WAH-WAH-WAHHHHHH from the brass!

    Hope that helps!
    Sean
