    Does anyone know what music is used in this trailer? I love the slow guitar theme and the psycho music in the middle of the trailer!

    That's the famous Jimi Hendrix performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" by Francis Scott Key."

    Why they used a Henrdix piece for American History X I'll never know. It seems to work well enough in the trailers, though, but for the wrong reasons.

    No it's not! Maybe it is in a different trailer but not the one on the DVD. I found the music from the trailer on DVD. It's from Rush by Eric Clapton. A great score I might add!
