Today turned out to be a day to find score CDs for films I had never expected to see discs for..all by chance, and even better, for an average $9/piece (w/tax)!

    2 Rota Scores
-La Dolce Vita & Giuletta degli Spiriti

    2 Goldsmith Scores
-Hour of the Gun & Inchon

    Elmer Bernstein's "Genocide"
    Christopher Young's "Hellbound: Hellraiser II"

    Rosenman's "Keeper of the City"

    Rosza's "Spellbound"

    Doyle's "Into the West"

And if I was independently wealthy, I almost could have picked up a old Varese CD of "The Egyptian" OST (like 8 or 9 tracks); Goldsmith's "Rent-A-Cop"; and a couple of others priced in the $20+ range. Plus a lot of other things I'll have to hope will be there another day.

Add to this the two FSM discs released this month ("Untamed" and "Towering Inferno") and it's been a great month for rediscovery!

Hour of the Gun is a good Goldsmith score. The first track, a jazzy/pop version of the main theme is catchy. I found this for 2 bucks at Circuit City...I think the cd has been deleted or something maybe, as they had a ton of intrada cds.

sakman, it looks like you stumbled across some good stuff!

I like the pop arrangement of the Hour of the Gun theme, too.

Circuit City probably wants to get rid of the CDs, since I think that all Intrada CDs have been removed from the normal distribution channels. It seems that only specialty sites still have them available. $2 -- what a steal!
