    I have some good ones:

    1) What in the world can be worst than a score by Hahznimer?

    a. Nothing;
    b. Someone spanking a keyboard with a dead cat;
    c. Listen to one of his interviews;
    d. Listen to Ridley Scott making a fool of himself saying "Oh, this music is great. Hinz has done it!!" to the piece he's stolen from Morricone's SECRET OF THE SAHARA;
    e. All the above.

    2) MV stands for:

    a. Music Vaporizers;
    b. Midi Ventures;
    c. Music teleVision;
    d. Mafia Valets;
    e. Merda Viva.

    3) James Horner is a great composer because:

    a. Jerry Goldsmith sucks;
    b. Jerry Goldsmith also copy himself;
    c. I hate Jerry Goldsmith;
    d. He has made more money than Jerry Goldsmith;
    e. "Dr. Evil" can sleep at night even when he put SCHINDLER'S LIST to play on his latest score.

    4. Hamzaimmer is a great composer because:

    a. Jerry Goldsmith sucks;
    b. Jerry Goldsmith also copy himself;
    c. I hate Jerry Goldsmith;
    d. He has made more money than Jerry Goldsmith;
    e. I said so.

    LOL, Timmer. More from where that came from, you genius you! Honestly, I am having a hard time selecting the new poll from all of these wonderful reponses. We'll just go ahead and stick with the curent poll until 250,000 responses have been received...

    Depends on whether or not the jelly is actually a blancmange from outer space that can turn JJH into a Scotsman...

    Hmmm.

    I think we should have a personality test for our new poll.

    It would be like this:

    Do you like to collect film scores?

    • No
    • Yes

    As judged by your answer, your personality type is....

    • (No) You and the rest of normal society will be on very good terms.
    • (Yes) You poor bastard.

    This test was performed in many universities and psychological schools across the country.

    FishChip, it seems that the jokesters have not taken you seriously. How dare they bring humour into your poker-faced request. I shall now be totally poker-faced and say seriously, without a trace of humour, that I think it would be enlightening to hear what people think of...

    Do composers get better with age? (Theirs, not ours)

    A: Yes, they do.

    B: They stay about as good or bad as they always were.

    C: No, they get worse.

    How's THAT, mirthmongers?

    And the answer is, obvioulsy,

    E. All the Above

    Excepet that the B is wrong, since I am the president of the Hanzaimmer Should Die Fan Club.

    Mark, there must be SOME way we can do ALL of those. (I know where you live too! Thankfully far away! )

    Andre, at some point you will just HAVE to admit your passion for Hans Zimmer ... either you or one of your ... "alternate" ... personalities

    Now an attempt to create a real poll idea (apologies if it too closely matches some already submitted) --

    Who is the most eclectic younger composer now working?

    - Elliot Goldenthal
    - Carter Burwell
    - Thomas Newman
    - Christopher Young
    - Howard Shore

    (or whoever else you might think of)
