...every score should include the main fanfare?Like "Apt Pupil" that has "Phoenix Pictures Presents". I mean that music during the logo.
"Star Wars" has that to.I think it helps set the mood very well.

Indeed. I love Goldsmith's Universal fanfare, and ripped it from the Dragonheart DVD. I'd love to put it on a disc with a Goldsmith score, but unfortunately, all Goldsmith iso scores seem to be for different studios than Universal. :rooleyes:NP: Small Soldiers Expanded (Jerry Goldsmith)
...hmmmmm. Looks like Small Soldiers could have the Universal logo at the beginning of the film? (Never seen it). I have to re-burn my disc, anyway...

I like the idea.Isn't there something in the current FSM about Intrada's Douglass Fake toying with the notion of commissioning an "Intrada Fanfare" from Bruce Broughton, to open all their successive releases? I think that's a COOL idea. At the same time perhaps a bit intrusive, but I kind of like it. (No stranger than the recent trend of putting the Fox Fanfare ahead of all these scores not written by Alfred Newman.)

I think I would want the United Artists logo music (Bond) oh yeah! For the record, Ottman's score to "Apt" rules! And his "Phoenix" intro is also good.
Ottman rules!

I'm not a big fan of logo music, but I always liked that little tune with the electronic percussion that Cannon Films used to use.NP: PSYCHO 2 (Jerry Goldsmith)
