But what do you think about Goldenthal scoring the movie? Or are you just ecxited to have something new with the words Final Fantasy on it?

Something with the words "Final Fantasy" on it!

Actually, the more I think about it, the more I am thinking about the score. I will give it a chance big time and will be getting it the day it comes out.
As to how I feel about him scoring the film, I am not happy, while I am looking forward to see what he does to the film, he can make it or break it. I would like to have someone else to do it, but i can't change it, so we will see how he does.
I can tell you this, if the score is bad it will be even harder for me to pick up one of his CDs again. I have waited so long for this movie (I wanted a movie when I was playing the SNES/GB games) that if anyone messes it up, I will be very disappointed, but from what I have seen and read, the only thing I need to worry about is the score. But if the music from the trailer is from the movie, then I have nothing to fear.

One thing sure is that Goldenthal won't screw up composing a Goldenthal score. I'm still sure he'll score the film appropriately, but I can't guarantee that he'll do it conventionally.

ya know, I don't know how you could listen to the first track of Titus, compare that to the game scores by what's-his-name, and say Goldenthal isn't capable.
