Also, the Eloquence label is recycling some Hollywood Bowl recordings:

And finally, does any one know what this version of Star Wars is worth?
It's performed by the Los Angeles Philharmonic, conducted by Zubin Mehta:

As for the Mummy Returns cover it looks rather cheesy.

As for the Star Wars thing its worth 8.99
It says it includes The Planets, and all cues are performed by the LA Master Chorale?
But not all tracks have a choir so I'm curious what Mars is going to sound like.

    Meh.

Same as the cover of the novelization. Just sort of average. Oh well.

    Wow.

    People's faces.

    What originality.

It could be worse. Remember Varese's "Back to The Future" cover?

If they wanted faces, they could have put Silvestri's face on there, damn it.

NP: The Classic Film Scores of E. W. Korngold (Gerhardt conducts)

[Oops, I can't type "Silvestri" this morning]

It's just the main title. The 'full' Mehta SW is on http://www.iclassics.com/iclassics/album.jsp?selectionId=1512

It's OK, but if you want a SW re-recording, I would suggest the Gerhardt-led recording instead. (OOP, but readily available).

The Rock looks like he's ready to lay the smack down on someone.

It's too bad Rock's been suspended indefinetly from the WWF, But I hear he's going to the New WCW So that should be awesome. I can't wait to see this for myself, I don't know how great it'll be but I'm pretty sure it'll be a load of fun and with Silvestri scoring it I'm probably sure it will be fun.

Not to bore everyone but what happened to the Rock? Is it part of a storyline or did he really get suspended? Can't help it I grew up on wrestling and used to live next door to a wrestler, I still have a slight affection for it.

I think it's part of the storyline I guess, I do know for a fact that he's off filming The Scorpion King aka.Mummy 3 and that could be the reason for his departure or Vinnie Mac is just tired of his schtick. I'll definetly miss him, he's awesome.

Unlike you guyz, I never watch wrestling, so when I started reading about "The Rock" playing a villain in this Mummy flick, I thought, "Oooooh nooooo...what cheez."
And then I watched "The Rock" perform on "Saturday Night Live", and WOW! The guy is great!
