Well, I just brought Where the eagles dare
    (Chapter III).
So now there are two Goodwin complete scores
    available.

Eagles doesn't have the good sound of
Battle of Britain but is nice to have it.
Probably they made the release using
the 1/4 inch masters of the LP and not
    the original multitrack sessions.

I wish there will be more complete
    Goodwing scores in the future.

I'm still hoping for a 633 Squadron/Those Magnificent Men In Their Flying Machines combined CD -- two short scores that would compliment each other and provide a full 60-80 minutes of music.

Goodwin's score to Valhalla is available (or was) on CD. I got mine from Supercollector.

If THOSE MAGNIFICENT MEN... does get a release, couldn't it be paired instead with its companion piece, MONTE CARLO OR BUST (aka THOSE DARING YOUNG MEN IN THEIR JAUNTY JALOPIES)? Leaving 633 SQUADRON to pair up with another war movie, like OPERATION CROSSBOW or something...

More Goodwin needs to be released. I was rooting around in my LP collection (all of which is spectacularly useless as I don't currently have a player) and I've plenty of Goodwin collections, which are fine as far as they go, but no actual full scores.

So how would one go about getting a copy (licensing) of one of these scores from this web page?? I've wanted the This Island Earth score ever since i saw Mystery Science Theater 3000.

A little patience is all that is required. I emailed MM about six months ago to ask when THIS ISLAND EARTH was going to be released. It will be released after MIGHTY JOE YOUNG, according to MM, but no release date is set for either.

I think it's great news that MMM is finally close to putting their next record out. If anyone wants original tracks to This Island Earth, I can send you a cassette, just contact me.
