Last of the Mohicans is my all time favorite.

I'll also enjoy Dark City and Merlin...though they sound a little similar.

Cleopatra is a great score! I would also HIGHLY recommend Merlin, Last of the Mohicans, The Mighty, Desperate Measures, Gulliver's Travels, Dark City, and G.I. Jane (if you can find it... it's a boot).

I've got a review up at Amazon.com (for Cleopatra)- though they don't seem to have credited my name to it. It's the one that says "Reviewer: A music fan from Dallas, Texas."

I reccomend Cliffhanger, Merlin, Dark City, For Roseanna. G.I. Jane (Suite of commerical Album is good enough).

Everyone likes Last of the Mohicans but I don't.

I've only got Cliffhanger, but it's pretty good. In fact, I decided to get this AFTER SEEING THE FILM! A very bold main theme, on Goldsmithian lines, and some exciting underscore similar to Alan Silvestri. Original it's not, but entertaining.

By the way, is Trevor Jones the most tanned film composer working today? (I'm not counting black people).

I've heard a bit of For Roseanna and can vouch for it's pleasantness.

Merlin makes a damn fine CD, and Dark City is dark, with one of the best extended cues I've heard "You have the Power." awesome! play it loud!

Well.....he grew up in South Africa, I hear its pretty hot there. So a tan would be easy.
