There's a petition to Rhino Records to get the Batman/Superman scores on CD. Even though it's mainly for Batman, it's the thought that counts.

Yes...a score for these definitely should be released. Come on people, even if you don't watch the shows please sign. You won't be disappointed with the music.

How interesting... Our good friend Michael Mays/Dantoris/Dex started this one (the petition).

Personally, I'd like to see more Nelson Riddle TV music come out first. The FSM CD of the movie score was great but a lot of the most familiar Riddle cues weren't used in the movie (especially his fight cue that riffed on Hefti's theme.).

I grew up watching these cartoons...Batman and Ducktales when I was younger were my favorite cartoons. And they both had one thing in common: great scores!

The batman scores were each like little mimi-movies. I loved the theme for Batgirl, a trumpet fanfare that I still rememeber

The penguin had a wonderful little theme, seemingly based off of one track of Batman Returns, The CHildrens' Hour I think. One episode involving kids who steal an egg from the Penguin sticks out in my mind as having a memorable score.

The episode involving the Grey GHost (batman's childhood hero, voiced by Adam West) had another standout score.

In my opinion, these scores are just as good as the Elfman scores and much better than the Goldenthal ones I would buy cds of every episode if I could!

I signed the petition!
I'd love to get a score to Batman the animated series/the New Batman Adventure. A great show with a great score.
I hope that with a little work this petition will pull through.

Bobamike. I aggree more than you know!
I remember watching Duck Tales when I was little and I have always LOVED the music. To me so nostalgic, and in general just SO GOOD!
That is my goal in the search for score CDs, the music for Duck Tales TV show by Ron Jones. The movie score by David Newman is good. But the greatest is the TV score. I would pay anything, do ANYTHING to get a CD full of the Duck Tales score...I hold out hope that one day in ANY form the score will be available...

OOPS! 0_0

Didn't mean to get off topic with my ravings, I just get so excited when talking about the Duck Tales score.
As always, any help on finding that score would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Cenzo
