I love this score/soundtrack. I play it when I tire of HUGE bombastic orchestras. I dig the jazzy parts but especially love the themes for "Karen and Max" and visa versa. "Angels" is nice and somber in an uplifting way.I dont think I'd like this score not having seen the film though. Maybe......who knows? I do know that it plays well by itself superbly.
The film? Well if youve not seen it, it has a twist ending that (for me) was worth the wait. Not as grand as the ending of The Usual Suspects but maybe just as dynamic.
I wonder, does Timecode have a score similar to this?
Anyway, check out ONE NIGHT STAND and then listen to the score by itself.
