Although they are defently not my faves, but some movies do demonstrate some rather good rock music.

My fave is by far (I think) Titan AE. Some of those songs are far out.

Are you talking regular songs written for the movie, or songs in the movie, etc?

I'd have to pick Iron Eagle and Heavy Metal.

Heavy Metal. Great songs on that album. And I don't know if you'd consider it rock or pop, but Footloose, Top Gun, Shocker, Fast Times At Ridgmont High, just to name a few.

    How about Creepers/Phenomena, or Opera.

Do Suspiria/Tenebre etc. count, with their rock scores by Goblin?

If so, they would be neat choices.

Or Grosse Pointe Blank. Or The Beach.

muct be more, but am not have time think.

np Young Sherlock Holmes ( )

Best songtrack I've heard in the past three years: THE BIG LEBOWSKI. As all too rarely happens with this kind of approach, the songs also made perfect sense inside the film as well. (But IF ONLY they'd have sprung to include "Viva Las Vegas" for the album ... )
