According to Intrada's upcoming site, Chapter III will be releasing Rozsa's El Cid on the 20th of March.
Also on that date, are due:
Where Eagles Dare (Ron Goodwin),
Biggest Bundle Of Them All / Zigzag (Riz Ortolani / Oliver Nelson),
Hotel Paradiso/The Comedians (Laurence Rosenthal),
The VIP's (Rozsa),
Kelly's Heroes/Cincinatti Kid (Schifrin).Fwoooo. What a list.

Quite true, though the VIP's is also going to be a must add for me, and if the packaging of the El Cid rerelease (content same as the old Sony CD) looks nice I'll probably be compelled to pick that one up.

Yes, but that's not from Chapter III, is it? All the one's I mentioned were. Which is kind of a lot, really.

Given that I missed Sony's release of El Cid, I'm pretty dang happy that Chapter III is releasing it, as it is my favorite Miklos Rozsa score.It will, of course, accompany Cleopatra... I'll call it Epic Day.
