SoundtrackNet has learned that Eric Serra will be scoring John McTiernan's remake of ROLLERBALL.
Dunno if this was announced or news or not (it's not on IMDb), but I thought you might like to know that.

I had heard the same, but then heard that he was providing some incidental music for the film, and McTiernan wanted a score as well....

Nice! I bet Eric will kick ass at this movie. I'm really excited now.

Yes for the record, I disliked "GoldenEye" but I liked "The Messenger" as for "Fifth Element" I can't make up my mind :-D It works great in the film though.

I'm with you Kyp, Serra will be able to do wonders for this. It's right up his alley.

the best music in Fifth Element wasn't even written by Serra; only destroyed.

FIFHT ELEMENT is by far one of the worst movies ever made.

BT? Isn't that short for Buford Thaxton? Ford has done a bunch of great soundtracks and I think he would do a great score. I hope its him!

I think it would be pretty funny if BT's middle name was Lawrence or Lionel! He'd be BLT!

Ok, I give you permission to ban me for the stupid joke...

Yeh I second that Greg! Who the heck is BT?
Over here in the U.K. BT is the National phone company British telecom. Surely they're not branching out into film scores now as well are they? I hope not otherwise they might use that NAFF music you have to listen to for half an hour when you're trying to get through to their switchboard! Gae

Once again, a little research goes a long way. There are other sites beyond this one, and Yahoo! was useful in producing a link to BT's official site: http://www.btmusic.com/

BT just did the music for the upcoming Stallone film, DRIVEN (as well THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS... hmmmm.....)

Once again, that's why we have you, Dan. Thanks for the info.

I liked the BLT joke, Tim. The tribe will not speak, because there will be no banishment. Someone needs to get the bacon frying, though, because now we're hungry.

    Ahhh.... fried BaconFishChips.
