As a big fan of John Ottman's music, I kept waiting for his next assignment to be confirmed... and it was, February 12th, on his official website (www.johnottman.com).

After directing, editing, and scoring URBAN LEGENDS: FINAL CUT, Ottman will be scoring the comedy BUBBLE BOY about a boy born without an immune system, forced to live in a bubble all his life, and suddenly finding out the love of his life is going to get married.

I guess we'll be treated to John Ottman's THE CABLE GUY style for this one, which will be a nice change from the dark and demented path frequently taken by Mister Ottman (although I'm not one to complain :). The only thing I find intriguing is that, on the IMDB, John Frizzell (ALIEN: RESURRECTION) is also listed in the Music credits for BUBBLE BOY.

I can't wait!

wasn't this a film done by John Travolta about 20 years ago?
I remember, cuz I was very surprised by the fact that Mark Snow did the score.
