Did anyone buy this CD yet?
I haven't been able to find it, and I've been waiting for years for the music of 'INTERNAL AFFAIRS', and I saw on the website of Milan Records that there are 5 or 6 tracks on it.
I'd love to know if anyone else was interested in this music ?

I'm a big Mike Figgis fan, ever since I saw Stormy Monday many years ago. His movies are not always scored in a traditional fashion and I don't think the individual albums hold up as listens on their own. The music is much better served on this type of compilation. Figgis is amazing... He writes his own material, directs, he even writes music for his own films. Not many directors have that kind of control...posted 02-15-2001 03:08 PM PT (US)

Unfortunately, Lars doesn't live in the USA, and right now the store only ships to the USA, which brings me to a post I will be making in the next few weeks.I'll be looking for some internationals who want to work with me to make the best international store this can be. If anyone wants to volunteer to be the first to order from overseas, Canada, or anywhere else, just let me know!
Be looking for my post in a few weeks, maybe a month....

I am a huge Mike Figgis fan, and this album is a great compendium of his work.I, too, don't neccesarily think that his film scoring style lends itself well to the album format (the exception is the wonderful Liebestraum, also one of Figgis' finest films, but naturally it's the hardest album of his to find) and the short suites found on this album are very good summations of their respective scores.
The material from Internal Affairs, which is another score that might make a good album, is fantastic.
The mastering is great, too.
