Just thought I'd mention. Edward Shearmur. Don't know of any other scores he did, but I liked the score he did for Miss Congeniality. I wish there was a promo or something out there.

Here's a link to the IMDB's entry on him:

I'd like promos for Miss Congeniality, Cruel Intentions, and Blue Streak. Mr. Shearmur did an excellent job on all three scores. The only release I've seen of his is Species 2. Has anyone heard this? What's it like?

was it Shearmur or Hirschfelder that scored Elizabeth?

anyway, Shearmur has a CD from a movie called The Wings of the Dove:

    Milan 73138 35833-2

it's pretty good, IIRC. I only got to listen to it once or twice.

    Hirschfelder did Elizabeth.

Jeron, DO NOT buy Species II. For the love of God, please do not buy this! I bought it solely on the basis of Jeff Bond mentioning that the end credits sounded "Goldsmithian" (or something). So, figured this was a good sign. Anyway, long story short, I rush out and buy the disc and with each successive track, my frustration just keeps building and building until eventually (3 years later), I returned the disc. Awful.

I hope I don't get stoned to death by "majestyx" and others who like this (if he and others actually do!).

    Shaun

Hmmm... Good call, Shaun. I trust what you say, just because our taste in film music is so similar. I'd still love promos discs from the other films mentioned...
