    Hello,
Anyone else planning on seeing this concert in Pittsburgh?
He is performing on March 29th- April 1st.
I believe that the 29th and 30th performances are sold out, but there might be some seats left for the Sat. and Sunday performances (31st and 1st).
I'm gonna be there for the 31st concert, I was wondering if anyone else was, and maybe we could get a coffee and say hi!

    Cheers,
    John

    *sigh*
I was so excited about going to this concert! I had even talked my girlfriend into driving back home to PIttsburgh with me for a few days to see Williams...but:

My major here at RIT is going to NYC to visit the illustration guild and so on. I really WANT to go home to see Williams, but I really SHOULD go to NYC, since I've never been there. (its 70 bucks for 4 days plus free tours)

Anyways, I've seen Williams two times before, but I guess I'll see him next year

    Hope its a good concert!

I would go but I moved back to my home town of Toledo, OH after graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. And now with me attending BGSU here in NW Ohio, I really don't have the time to drive 4 hours. It sucks living in smaller city.

Anyway, enjoy the concert. I know I did when he arrived to Pittsburgh for a concert sometime in 1996.

I'm sorry to hear about so many people missing out!! I'm very excited about going! Because I have never seen William's in concert!! I just recieved my tickets today in the mail! Yeee-haw!

I just hope it's as good, if not better, than the Goldsmith concert at Carnegie Hall, NYC on Oct of 99.

If anybody does get a chance to go, I think it'll be cool if we all sit down and chill at a restaurant or something. Esp. Jeron and Shaun!! That'll rock, I think!

Does anybody know, if William's comes out afterwards to speak with his fans (and supporters), to answer questions, have pictures taken, and sign autographs? That would be so great!

As, you can tell.... I'm really excited about going. I'm going to the 31st show at 8pm. I'll be sitting in the General tier, first row! Yay. These cost me $66 a person, but when I called (8am est on the 5th), they were pretty much all sold out. I'm not sure what tickets are left, but you can call the box office at (412) 392-4900 or at their site www.pittsburghsymphony.org

I hope that we can get a whole group together. I've never talked to more than 1 soundtrack freak at a time, and it'll rule if we get a whole group together!!!!

Good luck, and hopefully I'll see some of you there.

If anyone who is going, things this is also a good idea, write me and we'll set up a place and a time!! My email is johnpt@optonline.net

    As always.... take care,

    John

Even if I don't make the concert, I'll be there. In spirit or in person. Or spirited, AND in person! Or.....I'll just be a total bastard and ruin the experience for everyone by barging into Williams' dressing room and berating him for "producing" the 2CD set of The Phantom Menace!

If anyone would be looking for me, I'll be wearing suspenders and eating an abnormally large bag of fish chips. I'll be the one asking Symphony Members if they have a paper towel handy.

    Shaun
