    YEAH!!!!!
    kewl.....
Disney is reissuing several titles from their OOP-catalog.....
NEWSIES-Alan Menken *BONK* there goes your collector's value, from U.S.$40 to a mere $11.99

    Still hoping and wondering........
    JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH
    THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER
    and many many more.....

    Fear these reissues, rejoyce them!

NP: INDEPENDENCE DAY-David Arnold (full and complete 2CD) ****/*****
a bit too much complete as several tracks are copies of each other and some are cut making you think it is a demo/alternative.... but play them side by side and there the same....

I know it was originally issued by Bay Cities, but Return to Oz would nice. I have it, but I know many people who would love to have this score.

Sleeping Beauty is one I'm happy about. But lets keep our fingers crossed on Rescuers! And hey, what's Newsies like?

Ruger- Return to Oz is one that definitely should get a reissue. I have the original Bay Cities disc as well. Spectacular score... a childhood favorite of mine (ranks up there with Explorers).

PS- Foobsie, it sounds like you have the old boot. The World 006 version doesn't have repeats or alternates... it's a much cleaner representation and offers quite a bit more music than the one I think you are talking about.

what all is going to be re-issued?

you say "many, many, more" but don't list them.

don't make me reseach the answer beyond this thread (when you get your master's you can be academically lazy, too).

    Actually
    It is not lazyness........

That what I meant with "Fear...."
You know Disney not to be so forthcoming with release-info and if they do only to hear it to be postponed several weeks or be put back into the vault forever :-(

Try getting some useful information outta the Disney marketing folks..... They are so stricken with fear of their competitors that they will not answer your questions :-(

Would really like to meet the UK-Folk!

I'm thinking that they might be reissuing to see how well there 'classic' soundtracks will sell to see if perhaps it is worth releasing some other as yet unprinted soundtracks. Such as:

    Robin Hood (?)
Sword in the Stone (Georger Bruns)
the Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (Buddy Baker)
    Fox and the Hound (?)
    etc.

If they continued the classic soundtrack series that would be awesome.

    Here's hoping

    Cenzo

I picked up the prior issues of the new Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland, (the versions before the new DISNEY SOUNDTRACKS written on the side), at CostCo... for 14.99 TOTAL!! That's right, two for the price of one!!! That's not all, they had Snow White and Bambi also, but by the time I could get back with more money, it was gone. I'm told that most CostCos have them. Check locally and SAVE!!!!

    I'd like to see:

SWORD AND THE ROSE (1953) (Clifton Parker)
STORY OF ROBIN HOOD (1952) (Clifton Parker)
    TREASURE ISLAND (1950) (Clifton Parker)
    GREYFRIAR'S BOBBY (1961)(Francis Chagrin)
IN SEARCH OF THE CASTAWAYS (1962) (William Alwyn)
SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON (1960) (William Alwyn)

I mean the original scores not a rerelease
of the songs or stories from the film!
