    Ok gang....I've had it.
    Fed up...

How the hell many versions of MULAN are there!!!!!

Who do I have to take out to get the ABSOLUTE COMPLETE VERSION!!

I have one that runs 60mins....no songs, all score, sounds complete, except for the alternate Mulan's Decision on the commercial album.

Now there is a 78min. version for sale, a 2CD set that is being passed around....

Fer cryin' out loud won't someone clear this up! Does anyone have a clue how much music was written for this film!!

    Seizure time,
    Sean

There are approximately 24,324 versions out there. Good luck with your mission, should you choose to accept it.

36 tracks (6 of them songs),70 minutes. I have the DVD as well, and the only score I noticed in the film that is NOT on my album (I think one or two songs are missing) is the short opening credits cue.

(My album, if I'm not mistaken, is a combination of the official release plus the academy promo).

NP: Conan the Barbarian (Basil Poledouris, Milan version) - Complete deluxe release with better sound, please!

Marian, what about Varese's 67-minute release? Or are you talking about a complete release? (I haven't seen THE BARBARIAN in a while, so I'm not aware if more music still remains unreleased.)

Rang, at about the time Varese did their CONAN, Milan issued the same old contents, with a 90 second prologue(WITH dialogue) in "competition" with the Varese....of course there is a 100min. boot floating about too!Muahahahaha...how many versions can you count too?

Seriously, if anyone has various 'complete' track lists for MULAN, I would be forever grateful if ye would post them here

    Still frazzled,
    Sean

I know about that Varese release, and I intend to get it (can't get it directly in Vienna, though - tons of the Milan release, but not a single copy of the Varese).

Still, the Varese reportedly has the same sound (which is good - for a score (!) from the '80s - but could still be a lot better). And while I've only seen the film once (and didn't like it - typical Arnold Schwarzenegger film - but I have to get the DVD someday, just because Schwarzenegger's English is so fun ("Oil the sword and feed the horse" ) and there's a commentary track with him), but reportedly, there's still quite a bit of music that's not on the Varese disc either.

Oh well, on the other hand I have that goofy opening narration Rocco keeps missing on the Varese version.

I have the same version as CF8, although I added the songs into it, so its more or less the complete score.

I titled it "Mulan: the Super Duper Deluxe Special Edition Bootleg"

    *whew*
